On May 30, 2024, Pilbara Ports Australia issued a bulletin requiring the installation of CCTV cameras on vessels entering and exiting Port Hedland, to monitor the steering gear of vessels. For details on the specific conditions for the vessels applicable of this requirement and the specifications for the CCTV cameras, please refer to the attached file. For vessels whose networks are configured with our ORION PLUS and OL2(x), the above requirement can be met with relatively minimal additional work by utilizing the existing onboard network wiring.
