We appreciate your continued support. The need for security risk management in maritime IT has been increasing recently. To enhance the efficiency of IT security management on vessels, we are pleased to announce the implementation of an automated diagnostic function for shipboard PCs in the ORiON Plus router. This automated diagnostic system comprises a diagnostic program installed on shipboard PCs and the ORiON Plus's capability to automatically send diagnostic results to a cloud system onshore. The diagnostic program will periodically collect the following information from shipboard PCs: Hardware details such as CPU and memory Hard disk status (disk usage, bad sectors, etc.) Network information Peripheral device information Installed program information Antivirus information Running programs in memory Overall system performance This collected data will be automatically uploaded to our cloud system, enabling us to monitor the condition of shipboard PCs from shore. Using this system, our N-OASYS service will evaluate the lifespan of shipboard PCs. This allows us to establish appropriate replacement plans, detect problematic PCs before issues arise, and reduce maintenance costs for shipboard PCs. This automated diagnostic feature will be included in shipboard PCs and ORiON Plus routers shipped after October 2017.
