It enables the storage of video footage from cameras connected to the vessel’s LAN, allowing users to view and manage footage from onboard terminals or remotely via the ORiON+ Cloud. <New Feature Overview> The latest enhancement now enables ORiON i to connect with onboard systems such as ECDIS and engine monitoring systems. By installing the dedicated device, these data streams can be captured and stored directly on the “i’s Server”. This new feature allows: * Real-time viewing of ECDIS streams on the Captain or ship office PCs * Real-time viewing of engine monitoring streams from the Chief Engineer’s PC. * Remote monitoring of onboard system streams from shore * Retrieval of recorded footage for specific time periods With this new feature, ORiON i enables seamless sharing of ECDIS and engine monitor streams across the vessel’s network without dedicated display terminals, while also supporting the storage and utilization of this data stream as video.
